The holidays are not always joyous for everyone. Many are experiencing a heightened sense of global grief, disappointment, stress, loneliness, anxiety, and anger this year.

The Longest Night which is held on the winter solstice, is an opportunity for Philadelphians to come together for an evening of reflection, comfort, and hope in the midst of difficult circumstances arising around the world.

We want Philadelphians to know there is no shame in struggling. It's okay to not be okay. We hope that those who come to this gathering will be comforted in knowing they are not alone - we are holding each other's light as we try to find our way around on the longest nights of our lives.
